Our Story

A Teahouse, Vinyl Shop & Stage Under One Roof
Madame Zuzu's was born from a simple idea: that the best conversations happen over great tea and good music. Founded by Billy and Chloe Corgan in Highland Park, Illinois, the teahouse has become a gathering place for artists, dreamers, and anyone looking for something real.
What started as a quiet corner for tea ceremony evolved into something much larger, a cultural hub where live performances, acoustic sets, poetry readings, and community gatherings happen weekly. Our vinyl shop carries a curated collection of records. The tea menu features 30+ rare and ceremonial-grade selections from around the world. And we ship internationally.
Every Sunday from 11am to 2pm, we host Musical Brunch with free live performances featuring singer-songwriters, folk, and country artists. It's become one of our most beloved traditions.
Every detail is intentional. The vintage turntable in the corner. The hand-thrown ceramics. The warmth of a space that feels like it's been here forever, even though it's still growing.

What started as a shared love of tea and music became something neither of us expected, a home for our community. Every cup, every record, every Sunday brunch is an invitation to slow down and connect.
"Come for the tea. Stay for the music. Leave as family."
